Racehorse stable

Dr Charvát racehorse stable has approximately 35 racehorses and was officially founded in 2002. The stable’s greatest success is its victories in the Grand Pardubice Steeplechase in 2006 (Decent Fellow) and 2018 (Tzigane Du Berlais), and its victories in the Czech Derby in 2017 (Joseph) and 2021 (Hazarder). The biggest international success was a first place finish in the Gran Premio Merano in 2023 (First Of All). According to the official statistics of the Jockey Club of the Czech Republic, the stable of Dr Charvát is the most successful domestic racehorse stable in terms of competitively achieved subsidies.

The horses are trained at the racing centre in Dvorce u Bruntálu under the guidance of trainer Pavel Tůma. The saddle of the steeplechase horses is most often occupied by an experienced jockey, stable leader Jan Faltejsek. The typical silk racing colours are blue and yellow, thereby it’s the "blue-yellow" team.
